Introduction to rTMS Brain Magnetic Stimulation Therapy

Magnetic stimulation therapy (rTMS) is the latest method to deal with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, coercion, psychosis, migraine, Parkinson’s disease… and many other psychiatric diseases. It has significant effects and can also be used in conjunction with it. Rehabilitation treatment after stroke. It is a very safe treatment without the side effects of drug treatment. The full name of rTMS is Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. It uses a medical machine to use metal coils to emit magnetic force to stimulate specific small areas in the brain. The magnetic field can pass through the skull and send short strong magnetic pulses to the forehead of the brain, triggering small currents in the forehead of the brain to stimulate the area. The brain cells regulate the activity of nerve media and make the patient heal.

The principle of brain magnetic stimulation therapy is to stimulate nerve mediators. The red dot in Diagram 1 is the nerve mediator of normal brain cells. It transmits information to another brain cell connected to it. However, patients with depression are very lack of nerve mediators (such as Diagram 2), which leads to depression of the patient’s mood, and rTMS increases the neurological media through magnetism (the blue curve in Diagram 3 below) and restores the patient’s mood to normal.
