The Spooky2 Plasma Central kit has 4 functions: Plasma Mode, Ultrasonic Mode, Pulse Electromagnetic Field Mode (PEMF) and Contact mode, however, these functions may vary depending on different settings in the software Instead, here are some ways to test that your Spooky2 Central is working. Plasma mode
If you connect the Spooky2 Central and run the software correctly, you can see the plasma tube and modulation light flashing, which means your Plasma is working properly. You can also test the plasma tube with a voltage test lead, the voltage sensor will light up when the Spooky2 Central is powered and the tube is running. Ultrasonic mode
Generally speaking, as long as you run it, you will hear the sound of ultrasonic waves. You can select the Mold and Slime 2 Day Home Treatment (P)-JW preset under the \Environmental\Plasma\ column of the Preset tab of the Spooky2 software and run it. You will hear the sound of the ultrasound, and if you are hard of hearing, ask someone else to help.
Pulse Electromagnetic Field Mode (PEMF)
The Spooky2 PEMF sends very short pulses to the coil, the pulse is a fixed 100 Hz, but the duration is very short: 69 microseconds, which means it is very difficult to detect. The PEMF coil has an on time of 69 microseconds and an off time of 999931 microseconds, it’s only on 0.0069% of the time, but you can still use a few methods to test if your Spooky2 Central’s PEMF mode is working. Method #2: Test the Spooky2 coil with a multimeter, measure the resistance of the PEMF coil, the resistance should be between 0.5 and 1.5 ohms, some multimeters give different readings, but this reflects the quality of the meter and test leads used. Method #3: The operation of the PEMF coil can be checked using a sensitive compass, place the PEMF coil next to the compass and the needle will move slightly, any movement will indicate that the coil is working as the copper coil itself is non-magnetic until it is energized. Contact Mode
If you plug in a PEMF coil and open the contact port, and you can hear a hum on the PEMF coil, the contact mode ports are working because they share some components. If you can’t hear the sound when you put the PEMF coil close to your ear, try placing the PEMF coil on a metal surface, the resonant sound of the PEMF coil should be louder. If the contact mode port fails, the PEMF coil most likely will not function either.
