Maximum Voltage Setting for Spooky2 Operation

If the input voltage is 20vac, it can be converted to +-10vdc, after using the boost connection, as long as the frequency is the same and the waveform of “output port # 2” is inverted (because the boost inversion is output to “output port # 2”, it needs double invert to restore phase), you can then double that to 40vac (ie +-20vdc). People use boost to regularly double the voltage on contacts and remotes, and 4x power is really only for contacts, in fact Spooky2 remotes don’t need the full +-20v, for many they may actually be at different voltages, the reaction may be better.

For example, the Square H Bomb is an interesting waveform to use as an example because it has 16 embedded cycles. 8 of them are on and 8 of them are off. Of these 8 cycles, the first and last are full amplitude, while the other 6 are 1/4 of this amplitude. It has a very good efficiency curve as it spans both amplitudes while keeping the harmonics propagating tight to the resulting fundamental frequency. Another use for a boost is that if you use each output at a different frequency, it adds the two outputs together, allowing the output to go to a single device without having to connect two devices. The output waveform is the same as the one you recorded with the microphone talking to two people at the same time.
